Our Story
Aloha Fishing Charters is led by Captain Lance Keener, a fishing expert with over 35 years of experience across some of the worlds most iconic waters.
Captain Lance began his fishing career in Santa Barbara, California, honing his skills on the offshore water of the Santa Barbara Channel Islands. His journey then carried him across the Pacific to Micronesia, and later to the island of Kauai, where he was the owner-operator of the islands premier fishing charter for nearly two decades. The demanding waters of Kauai are where his skills chasing blue water pelagic fish were forged through hard days and high expectations, earning his reputation as a top sportfishing captain.
After returning to the mainland Lance built a strong reputation on the East Coast competing in the worlds biggest Marlin tournaments-and he still competes in offshore tournaments today throughout Florida and the East Coast.
But despite a lifetime spent offshore chasing giants, Lance true passion lies in inshore fishing - the finesse, strategy, and excitement of working shallow, dynamic waters.
Today, Aloha Fishing Charters is a strictly inshore guiding service based in St. Johns County, Florida, where Captain Lance brings his decades of offshore knowledge into the creeks, flats, and river systems of Northeast Florida, he offers an unforgettable experience for anglers of all levels.
